Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
    Attach a statement of originality of the manuscript and the results of the plagiarism check
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided. Must use the citation application (Mendeley)
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and Journal Template.

Author Guidelines

Paper Format

  • The word limit for the submission is around 5000-6000 words (Including footnotes and abstract).
  • The manuscripts should cover the following items: Title; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; MethodMain Heading Analysis; Conclusion; and References.
  • Referencing style uses the Chicago Manual of Style.

Title

Title of articles are written with Times New Roman Bold; Author(s) name, affiliations and e-mail.

Abstract

Abstract should contain the aims and object (problem[s]) of the paper, the methodology of the research, and the short conclusion.

Keywords

Keywords should have maximum of five keywords separated by a semicolon (;).

Introduction

The introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed in the manuscript, including the problem(s) to be solved.

Result and Discussion

Result and discussion be written in same part. They should be presented continuously start from main result until supporting results and a discussion.

Conclusion

Conclusion should briefly state the answer to the problem(s) raised. It may also contain, if any, the suggestion(s) offered.

References

BJAL uses the Chicago Manual of Style in the References at the end of the manuscript. Cite only items that you have read and written on footnotes.

Book Review

Book reviews are welcome. It should state the author of the book, the year of publication, and the analysis of the content including the contribution or the critic(s) of the book. The review should be no more than 2000 words.
